GMC-OnStar Hidden Treasure Adventure

The adventure just started for five Do-It-Yourself bloggers chosen by GMC and OnStar to hit the road driving from Michigan to Alabama along the 127 Sale (aka the World’s Longest Yard Sale) route to discover “hidden treasures” as well as the features of the 2012 GMC Yukon Denali XL and OnStar!

For a total of 4 days, the bloggers will be driving through the 127 Sale (aka the World’s Longest Yard Sale) which is an annual event celebrating it’s 25th year.  The sale has expanded and now covers six states along Hwy 127 (starting in Hudson, MI and ending in Gadsden, Alabama). With growing publicity over the past few years, the 127 Sale has become known for finding hidden treasures among the hundred’s/thousand’s of yard sales along the 127 Highway.

And, the bloggers will be shopping in as many yard sales as they possibly can, searching for hidden treasures along the way!

Habitat for Humanity in Detroit, MI and in Birmingham, AL are also partners in this adventure and at the end of the event and with the items purchased along the 127 Sale, the bloggers will use their special skills to decorate a newly built Habitat home in Birmingham, AL.

The new home owner doesn’t know that items are being donated and that the house is being decorated, so the big reveal will take place on Sunday, August 5.
