Chevy Pizza Crawl Hits Jacksonville

A Deliciously Fun Time in J-Ville with IMPACTjax

Chevrolet recently teamed up with IMPACTjax, a young professionals group through the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce for the city’s first Chevy Pizza Crawl. Our pizza crawlers met after business hours at Jerry Hamm Chevrolet on Philips Highway near downtown. Following introductions, the gang took their appetites on the road in brand new 2011 Chevys (including 2 Cruzes, 1 Tahoe Hybrid and an Equinox) and used On Star turn-by-turn navigation to find their way to our first stop, Pizza Palace in San Marco followed by a drive to Moon River Pizza in Murray Hill and then to our last local pizzeria, Renna’s Pizza at the St. Johns Town Center.

Our participants had fun comparing delicious pizza slices from each of our stops, but reviews were so mixed there was no clear winner to declare the absolute best. But one thing was clear, IMPACTjax is a fun group of really cool..and smart people. They rocked out to our Chevy Pizza Crawl Cheesy Re-Mix music, especially those with Bieber fever..and they got a kick out of taking turns behind the wheel.  Clear favorites were the Chevy Tahoe Hybrid and the new Chevy Cruze. The Cruze even impressed many with its surprisingly large trunk space.

-Kajal Patel HAD A BLAST!!! The Chevy Tahoe Hybrid is a really nice car! Lots of room even in the 3rd row! Moon River has the best Pizza for sure!
